Riso Gallo Riserva del Fundatore Risotto Rice 500g
The Riserva del Fondatore rice is a tribute dedicated to the founder of the company, Giobatta, who in 1856 started his business in the trade of rice and who has always pursued the research of quality as his philosophy. It is exceptional rice produced in limited quantity; it is subjected to a very strict selection process: only 1 grain in 3 becomes the Riserva del Fondatore. It is grown in the rice fields of Po Valley, where the characteristics of the soil and the microclimate are most favorable. It is matured for at least three months, which changes the structure of the starch, and it is subsequently milled, using the ancient method of traditional stone husking, thus allowing a more gentle abrasion of the grain, ensuring an improved cooking performance and reducing stickiness. The result is a superior quality rice bringing together six generations of love and culture for rice.
